CURED Overview

Our Center for Urologic Research, Education, and Diseases (CURED) is the private philanthropic research arm of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Urology.

• CURED was formed in 2005 to address a critical need to communicate to, and seek support from, private philanthropic sources in support of basic science and clinical research in urology.
• CURED’s mission is to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life for the patient with urologic cancer and disease through compassionate care and innovative research.  In our brief history we have raised over $1.5 million toward our initial goal of $11.1 million.
